Trio New American Cafe - Colleyville

One of our favorite restaurants in the area for special occasions. Tonight we enjoyed the cheese plate (a vegetarian version), the hydrosalate, pecan smoked chicken, catching the day (salmon) with cauliflower two possibilities, the chocolate caramel bread pudding, and the ginger bread layer cake. The cake was a wonderful, innovative surprise. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a true celebration of holiday aromas. Our server, Marci, was exactly the right crowd friendly and attentive for a quiet evening for two.

Trio is a small intimate restaurant. The good and the service were excellent. The server took their time to make sure that we were aware of the peculiarities and knew about the concept of the restaurant. Everyone was very attentive, the cook came out at the end of the meal and imagined and inquired about our experience. Specials change seasonal. We will definitely come back.

The menu is innovative with common foods served in new ways. The chicken noodle soup was prepared with Thai spices. This combination was delightful and makes me want to try other offerings. Service is efficient and personable. Prices are reasonable. This is a place for adults and it's quite pleasant.
