The Bakery - Collegedale

Service here is top-notch. I have bought several things from here since we have moved here. We tried to enjoy them, but vegan is not for my household. As much as I would like to continue to support this local business, I just can't justify it. If you like vegan, this is a great local place. Updated: Gave the full 5 stars as there is no issue with service or quality.

This place is awesome! It’s an all vegan bakery. The baked goods look and taste amazing. If your looking for the best vegan bakery in the Chattanooga area this is it. The breads are not overly sweet and they taste heavenly. I would take my non vegan friends and I’m positive they would love this place. Will update once I go with them.

This place is amazing. My sister and I ordered a lemon cream tart from here... being a vegan bakery we were skeptical. So we ordered a few turn overs, pastries, and breads. They were all phenomenal, the tart was no different. Absolutely delicious and I'd choose it over most traditional cream tarts I've had. We are by no means vegan but this bakery should be appreciated by everyone. 10/10 I will be going back to this place and recommending it to anyone needing baked goods for any event.

We were looking for a bakery to get a fruit tart from for my mothers birthday, we put in the order today. I was on the fence about vegan baked goods, so me and my brother drove out there to taste some stuff before we committed, we had a guava turnover, lemon cherry scone, and a sticky bun. I usually am not a scone person, because I find them dry, the lemon cherry scone was absolutely delicious, moist, fluffy, not overly sweet, and you could taste the lemon and cherry. The guava turnover was flaky, crispy, and fantastic. The sticky bun was every bit as delicious as the other two we tried. The staff is so nice, I don’t know if it was the owner in the back, but he went above and beyond to accommodate our order! I can’t wait for my moms bday so I can have some more goodies from The Bakery! 15/10 recommend. If you’re looking for somewhere to get your baked goods, look no further, this place is THE BEST!!

DELICIOUS!! I keep going back!! 100% made this a regular stop. I can’t believe this place is plant based! I bought an assortment with their chocolate chip cookies, peach turnover and a guava turnover.First off!!! I’ve had the chance to try and lot of puff pastry. I couldn’t tell it was dairy free. It was that good. I primarily ate the peach but tried a small piece of the guava. Both filling a were delicious and balanced. Some places over sugar the filling and you lose the lovely freshness and natural flavor of the fruit. Not here! They did a marvelous job with these pastries.The cookies too were very good. Not quite the classic crispy edge soft center style I usually go for, but for the style of cookie very tasty and also remarkable to believe it’s dairy free. I think I nice glass of milk would make these perfection.Eat local!
