The flavors do not make up for the casual setup, and there are inconsistencies with some dishes. On my recent visit, I had paneer saag with garlic naan and mango lassi. The paneer saag was okay, the garlic naan was delicious, but the mango lassi had strange yogurt curds and was too sweet. In a previous visit, the chicken tikka Osakathar was overcooked and tough. The buffet had some good options, but others were bland. The self-serve picnic-style atmosphere and varying quality make it confusing why they charge prices comparable to higher-quality full-service restaurants nearby.
I ordered Daal Makhani and my friend ordered Chicken Tikka Masala at this restaurant. My daal had no flavor and was undercooked, while my friend's chicken tasted like the cheapest rubber imaginable. I had a feeling things wouldn't go well when we arrived and no one else was there during lunch hour. The only positive aspect was the free pickle they provided for us to eat with our rice, although our meal ended up costing $20 for me and $30 for my friend. I gave this place 1 star and believe it should close down. I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
I love the Indian buffet at this restaurant, especially the new miniature eggplant dish. Like many others, I would prefer to serve myself. I do wish that rasam soup was occasionally included on the buffet. The decrease in customers since this location opened seems to be due to a cost per calories issue. However, the recent option for extra servings gives me hope that things will improve. I will definitely be returning more frequently as long as the buffet is available. With a large vegetarian population in the area, I believe this will benefit your business. I wish you success in the future, as long as the buffet pricing remains unchanged. It would be great to have a hot sauce option on the buffet to adjust the spice level, similar to Dosa Hut. Your flavors are top-notch though, so keep up the good work. Thank you for providing a delicious meal before my work day.
There is no option of 1 Star. Everything was poor on every level. Food served in disposable plates. I have never come across such presentation but we had paid prior to seating . Then comes the food . Quantity was exceptionally low. Runny curry . Weordered tofu and panner . We had to look for paneer in that curry . Each curry $13.99. This is insane price . We done out atIndian every other weekend but this place is not worth the money , quality , quantity or taste . Totally avoid if you want to totry authentic india. . Waste of money
The food has a wonderful flavor although even the mild version is a bit spicy. There is a good variety to choose from on the menu or you can purchase the buffet. It is a little pricy though even with enough food for me to take home leftovers. I lovedthe mango smoothy (I forget what is was called on the menu). It is worth trying and supporting this locally ownedestablishment.
