Speckled Ax - Cliff Island

Excellent third wave coffee shop in the heart of Portland. Lighter, flavorful roasts. I tried the ? maple iced latte and was pleasantly surprised. Of note is that their roasts are wood fire roasted ?, a rarity.Small, cozy, shop with warm tones, minimalist designs, and very friendly and coffee-passionate baristas.

I have never tried wood roastd coffee. I had cappuccino (ups, not espresso), but still liked the taste so bought cute match-like packahe of coffee to brew in Lithuania. I love this sample solutions when you travel a lot and want some smaller packages to fill your luggage rather one big package. Cool full cap design as well if you're looking for some beautifull merch.

Great service, location, and atmosphere… but I ordered an $8 oat milk latte that tasted acrid and burnt. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it.

Got 2 drip coffees and some beans for home brewing. Loved the drip coffee… balanced and really flavour forward. Can’t wait to brew the beans at home. Appreciated how much variety they offer. Great spot!

Accommodating a sociable staff. Great green tea, made iced for me without hesitation. Perfect location.
