We were led through the menu, because my daughter is not the most adventurous and is not sharp. We ordered a Chutney appetizer that was delicious. Then we were served to the biggest garlic naan that was so delicious. Our orders arrived and I watched my 7yo Devour chicken and rice (Pulao) with an anticipation that I wanted to come back just to see how they eat a whole healthy meal! This is by far bar-none the BEST Indian Cuisine restaurant where I was. Authentic to the core. The owner visited us at the table and explained that everything they do is fresh and health-conscious and can also be digested. We will always be customers of Kainat!! Recommend this restaurant! Whether you are lucky or love eating authentic food, this is the place! Do a favor and go!
For years I had really good Indian food, so my husband and I decided to try Kainat. I had the goat corma and a mango Lassi, and my husband had the goat biryani. The whole experience was fantastic. My goat's corma was so tasteful, and the meat was delicate in your mouth - with exactly the right amount of spices. the Lassi was delicious, and so thick I first wondered if I had to use a spoon. My husband also enjoyed his Biryani. The owner came out to ask if we would enjoy our meal and told us about their lunch buffet. Now that we know how good this restaurant is, we will definitely be back. We will also recommend Kainat to our friends.
Great food and service. Very friendly and the freshest dishes. Very recommended.
It was soooo good! Ififa and Theresa were very attentive and helpful! The food was amazing and perfectly seasoned! Spicy actually means sharp what I love! People look at me and think, little white girl can't mean spicy anger! Then I'm disappointed. The price was reasonable and you have a lot of food. My sister and I split curry chicken, Dal rice and garlic naan for $20 and had remains. I'm super excited to have an indo-pak restaurant in Clayton and I'll be back with friends in tow! The other thing I really liked, wad that the water was cold. It is common in the middle eastern restaurant to serve room temperature water to help with digestion, but personally I like cool water. It may seem a little detail, but I really appreciated going with my spicy curry lol. Get out of your comfort zone and taste it! You're not sorry!
The food was outstanding! If you like Indian/Pakistan food, you will enjoy this place.
