My personal favorites were the black sesame cream cheese, berry cream cheese (do consider that this one’s a bit messier and not as photogenic as the berry jam is harder to style with the cream cheese), chicken katsu curry (found this great during a gloomy morning), uni spaghetti the black sesame kinako latte!!
The place is so small but cozy and aesthetic. The food they serve were plated so nicely and it taste good. Coffee is always amazing. The staff were kind and very polite. We took the bar area and sat, only few tables inside. We enjoyed our stay here!
We came in the early afternoon on a cold Sunday, and the wait was over an hour long. I think we waited for about 1.5h for a table for two… and the table was really like a ledge on the side of the restaurant. Curry and noodles were good but definitely I don’t think it is worth the long wait unless you are already in the area and doing something else. The toasts were more aesthetic than it tastes (to be expected).
Went for the aesthetic toasts, stayed for everything! I love the pasta, is with a Japanese twist to it sooo delish, definitely a must get, and creamy sauce with savory, strong mentaiko flavors. And the cutest toasts that were definitely a little overhyped, the honey lemon combo was a little interesting. And the drinks is so refreshing with strong flavors!
Came in to try the toast while in New York. Absolutely beautiful both to eat and to look at. Watching them make it was stunning. Eating it was pretty great too. The black sesame was an acquired taste for me but I loved it. The berries and cream also awesome. Honey lemon is great. Cinnamon was weakest of the 4 but still good. Great coffee too.
