I called to let them know, and they said they would note it for a credit. When I went to pick it up, I was surprised at the number of missing items recorded that week! Considering the prices we pay, we shouldn't be dealing with missing items. The staff really needs to sort this out!
We were initially charged twice for an XL bucket, and it took the manager ten minutes to come over and inform us that there was nothing he could do about it. Only after I insisted did he start taking photos of the bank statements, but he almost left without taking our contact information. Now, 33 minutes later, we’re still waiting for our food. The manager was rather rude, and the overall service has been a complete disappointment—definitely a -100 rating.
I decided to go inside because the drive-thru was quite busy, but I would have preferred to stay in my car. The restaurant was dirty, with tables that were in disarray. When our food arrived, it was lukewarm, and the chips were tasteless without any salt. The popcorn chicken tasted stale, and many pieces were dry. Overall, my experience at this location today was disappointing.
If you value your time and your money do not go here! Ordered online got confirmation that my order was ready within 2 minutes... Still took another 40 minutes to actually get my cold food and half the order was missing. Rung up to complain and got told they would call back after checking, get the call back and answer to laughing and the caller talking to someone else. Got told I had to come in to get the rest of my delivery order! Absolutely rude customer service. The entire staff either need retrained or replaced including and especially the management.
Probably the only good KFC in Christchurch. They're a bit slack on the cleaning. But other than that, they're pretty good. My mum and I come in sometimes for dinner just as a treat for us and so far we've gotten everything we paid for. But if they do miss something, can simply go up to the counter and ask for the missing food, they won't ask questions. It's also so easy to order with the self order systems. So I'll have to give them four stars.
