I have to have my weekly treat of such things! So, I stopped by this week after work to see their selection. They still sell fresh baked challah, an assortment of cookies, slices of carrot or chocolate cake, a gluten free peanut butter brownie, and a few different nicely sized cupcake options including a peanut butter and chocolate one. But I found the most unique dessert yet a mug cake! For under a dollar, you can buy a cake mix to make in a coffee mug, that includes sprinkles. The staff were friendly and courteous during my shopping experience this time, asking if I needed help finding anything and saying hello when going through the check out line. Whole Foods also still has that upstairs area that can be fun to hangout with friends if they're doing their weekly music and dinner deal night. Last year it was bluegrass and a $5 burger on Thursday nights. Heard it's jazz now. I'll be back to check that out one week too.
The Whole Foods Market is a good place to find quality healthy foods. I recommend shopping here for fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. I also like getting hard to find spices. There are loads of organic, vegan, and vegetarian food choices as well. The price varies and quite frankly for those who say the prices are higher have to consider food prices vary based on the season, sales and the weather of the season your crop is grown and the food fed to the vessel that holds your meat choice. Like any other grocery shopping experience you have to check for the sales and go to more than one store to get all of your products. This location is clean. The bake goods are fresh and tasty. The warm food bar was clean which is really important for folks who like any type of a buffet or self-service meal. The store associates are courteous and friendly. A nice place to shop! I love the discounts I get with Amazon Prime.
Not sure why this Whole Foods does not offer plates at the hot bar. They are creating an unnecessary amount of recycling by not offering plates and only offering recyclable containers. The first rule of recycling is reduce. Other Whole Foods use washable plates and so should you!
For lunch or dinner.....hot cold foods, outstanding salad bar, very good made to order sandwiches...hot or cold...large variety of beverages......we shopped after dining...great time saver all around..good food
My biggest complaint about Whole Foods is typically related to size/cramped-ness. Can you even get your cart through the aisles? This Whole Foods is a decent size and fairly well laid out. I didn 't get the claustrophobic/ Get me out of here feeling that I do at many Whole Foods now (including our Nashville store which I usually go to maybe once a year when only absolutely necessary? . Parking is easy. The store was fairly well stocked. An a-okay Whole Foods in my book.
