Jamaican Jerk Shack - Chattanooga

These people are not ready for a business. These people do not want their business. Every time I come up here, it’s always an issue: they don’t have whats displayed on the menu, they are closed during working hours, or the food is dry as if it’s been sitting out. There’s always disappointment involved with this business each time I visit due to unsatisfactory reasons. Tired of it. 1 star.

This place is awesome! I had the oxtail, rice and peas, and cabbage. My husband had the jerk chicken, plantains, and Mac and cheese. It was FIRE ! my kids shared a curry chicken plate and loved it! My husband even said he wanted to buy more food to go!! 10/10 recommend this place!Kid-friendliness: My kids were able to eat the food

As a person who's had Jamaican and other islands food this ain't it for goodness sake they make beef gravy for the oxtails....Why? Also, flavor is not there I had oxtails,veg and cabbage. Prob won't be

I decided to stop in and try their food. It is a small place but very nice. Got a real Jamaican vibe from the music, staff, and food. I ordered the J wings with steamed veggies. Food was pretty good. The j seasoning wasn't too hot. I will probably go back and try some of their other items on the menu.

It's hands down the best Jamaican j chicken I've ever had. And the owner opened an hour early for me and my coworkers. Customer service like that goes a long ways these days. Will definitely become the new lunch spot.
