El Monterrey Authentic Mexican

Service was quick and friendly. We liked the chips and salsa, which had a little bit of spice but not too much. We ordered their fresh made guacamole which we really enjoyed. The Pollo Loco had a great flavor. I didn't care as much for the rice and beans had an off flavor that I couldn't place. We will come back again.

I have dirt here for at least 8 years if not 10. what to know: chips are not great, salsa is okay the rice and beans are awesome. my favorite holding is the picoso. always in tune with my order and always good service. reasonable price.

Ordered online and given a half hour until ready for pickup which was fine unfortunately when I arrived I was told the restaurant does not get notification for online orders and the hostess ' boss had just notified her that my order had been placed and it would be another 20 minutes before my food was ready. I wait the additional time only to pick up my order and find I was missing an item and have to return to the restaurant again. On top of that the food was not good, no real flavor and the texture of the tortillas and cheese sauce seemed like it was just thrown in a microwave to reheat before being given to me late and wrong. Additionally there was no one at the hostess stand had to wait all three times I had to go back into this restaurant. Was very displeased with the experience.

This used to be a par place, since they became el agave they have stepped it up.the biggest difference is in the cooking. I have tried out the menu and there some things that are way good.keep this under your hat, I personally don’t want this place getting extra busy, but it is good.

Best Mexican food in Chattanooga. I will definitely be back. The quesadilla and spinach dip were both top notch.
