Chattanooga Brewing Co.

Chattanooga Brewing Co. offers the best Thursday special of any craft brewery I've ever been to. All draft beers are just $4, and if you order the $15 burger and fries, you can enjoy a free draft beer of your choice. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The beers I tried were the dark lager and the Oktoberfest, both of which were excellent. The burger was also very tasty.

My husband and I just left Chattanooga Brewing today (Saturday at 1:00). There were a total of 5 tables in the whole place. My family and two other families sat outside for drinks and lunch after a soccer tournament. The server was not over friendly, butthe manager was downright rude. The kids were playing in the rocks outside and running, but there was no one else outside on thepatio. He stopped, closed his eyes as though he was counting to 10, and never cracked a smile. The food was mediocre andoverpriced. I also witnessed a cook eating over the food fryer. We will NOT be returning to Chattanooga Brewing. If you havechildren, I would avoid it, too! I would think Chattanooga Brewing should be grateful for any business- seeing as how it wasdead at 1:00pm on a Saturday?

Cool spot. Shandy was the best I've ever had for a pre-mixed shandy/radler. Official watering hole of the chattahooligans, and directly across from Fort Finley, so I imagine I will be spending more and more money here as time goes on.

The beer selection looked intriguing enough to bring us back, and I'm especially interested in trying the habanero beer! Our snack was fantastic—the pretzel was about the size of my face, and the beer cheese was delicious. Although we didn't stay long, our experience was very enjoyable. The open windows that looked into the brewing area added a nice touch and made the space feel larger. The bar staff was friendly, creating a laid-back atmosphere that we really appreciated. The beer selection is decent, with a wide variety to choose from, and the Hanabero beer is quite spicy. However, I found the food to be disappointing. While some reviews claim the food is good, we didn’t have the same experience. Everything was excessively salty and lacked flavor. We ordered the fish sandwich and the burger; the coleslaw in the sandwich was tasteless, just red sour cabbage. The fried sweet potatoes and okra were also too salty. The burger was passable, but nothing special. On a positive note, the staff were friendly.
