Cafe Central bistro - Charlestown

Terrible experience. Food was awful. The lady taking orders was very rude. When we finished our dinner we found a quiet spot to have a drink and chat and then a bunch of drunk people started on the loud speaker farewelling a staff member. This went on for about half an hour- Peace was shattered. We won't be back there.

My first time having lunch at this restaurant and I was impressed with the friendly staff, quick service, and willingness to help. I ordered a burger and pork with gravy and vegetables. The food was good overall, but the coffee was a bit too strong for my taste. However, that was our own fault for not being more specific in our order. It was surprising to see how crowded the restaurant was, which is a testament to how great the food and service are.

I really enjoyed revisiting the renovated Central Leagues Club, as the interior looks much improved. There is plenty of seating available inside, and the food is delicious with reasonable prices. I highly recommend checking it out soon.

Had a vegan pizza, was great, friend had a chicken schnitzel, only $10 on a Thursday! Staff really lovely, said they were looking to expand vegan options!

A great place to meet up with family and friends and suitable for all ages providing a playground for children to play on. Plenty of seating available and they have regular events happening. Food is delicious and reasonably priced so definately come and check it out! They also have daily food specials!
