Cafe 147 - Charlestown

You opened up in East Maitland Bowling club recently. Your staff is wonderful and so helpful. The food is devine, and it's nice to have decent coffee before our 10am meetings.

Alison and her staff at this restaurant are welcoming, remembering each customer by name and their favorite coffee order. The majority of the menu offerings are gluten-free, lovingly prepared in-house, and extremely tasty. I enjoy my lactose-free flat white here almost every morning. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. This place serves the best coffee in Newcastle.

This is a café. The coffees are really good and they offer a variety of pastries and snacks to go with it. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this café for a quick coffee break.

Revisited Cafe147 recently as a friend of mine had told me that new owners had taken over the café. What a difference! Greeted by friendly new owners, who were happy to have me there and made me feel welcome. :) Had a yummy eggs benedict...More

A very friendly, healthy place to eat with great coffee. Always ate at Cafe 147 when they were at Market Town, then they disappeared. Was thrilled when I found them at Charlestown. The food and coffee are always great. With gluten and lactose problems in the family it is such a pleasure to know we have somewhere to go, relax and enjoy our food. Thanks guys :-))))
