Butcher Block Boyson Road

The Butcher Block is absolutely the best steakhouse in Cedar Rapids. My filet was cooked perfectly. We had a fantastic server who kept our glasses full but was not too overbearing. It was an overall great experience. First time here, certainly not the last.

My wife had a Greek salad with chicken and I had the 18 oz dry aged ribeye. Both were fantastic and our server was very kind and helpful. We will be back . Everything was cooked perfectly and our drinks were fair priced.

Tonight we went out for Mothers Day dinner. They were busy but offered the patio for seating. We had Onion Rings as the appetizer, extremely good and a good sized portion for two. My wife and I ordered the Delmonico rib eye and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be back. Excellent venue.

Butcher's Block did a fantastic job catering our New Year's Eve wedding. We couldn't have been more pleased with the food, and the price per plate was very reasonable. The staff was excellent at communicating leading up to our big day, and the servers on the night were wonderfully friendly. They also did an impressive job estimating portion sizes, leaving us just the right amount of leftovers. We received numerous compliments on the food, including praise from our DJ and photographer, both of whom have attended many weddings over the years. Choosing Butcher's Block was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!
