Truly artisan gelato is made on the premises by a husband and wife team who are using traditional recipes that apparently travelled to Uruguay and back to Italy with the family of proprietor Giancamillo Giusti. The gelato is superb, creamy and richly flavoured as one would expect. A wide range of flavours is always on offer-the usual ones, plus some more creative ones-for cones, cups, and take-away styro boxes. And then there are the confections, from little hand-held gelato cookies and treats to some really amazing gelato cakes for parties. My wife and I always visit Giusti when we are in the area--if you are going to put on calories, they might as well be worth it. These are. The location isn't great, in the corner of a unpromising looking commercial centre (shopping centre with a worn-out car park, but finding it will be well rewarded if you are a gelato fan.
We visited this treasure of an ice-cream parlour while out shopping, the variety of ices on offer is amazing but it is the quality that makes it superb. On a scorching hot day it was bliss to go in and choose our favourite from the selection available, a difficult task as they are all mouth wateringly good. The handmade confections were the choice of my friend. A few days later we had eaten our evening meal in a restaurant but decided to drive the extra miles for ice-cream dessert. The service was as usual friendly and un rushed, even though there were a lot of customers.
All different tastes but Cheescake one is my favorite The staff is quite polite and talkative. They also make cakes and desserts for events and parties
