Garcias Cafe - Carbondale

I've been coming here since I was a child, and I still love it! The staff is friendly, and the food is great!

Discovered a family owned gem in Carbondale! Our new go to... Garcia's Market has everything you need and an in-house food bar... Carne asada with made to order corn tortillas, chilaquiles, chorizo con papas breakfast burritos and super friendly staff. Check them out.

I didn't have high expectations when I visited this restaurant, but I ordered the green chilaquiles with eggs and steak, and I was truly impressed! The chilaquiles were crispy, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this dish!

This is an excellent spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, with Chef Ed preparing dishes right in front of you. The seating is limited, but that's part of its charm. Additionally, there's a market area where you can order food and then bring your ticket to the chefs. Highly recommended!

Fun atmosphere, the galles are easy to go. I recommend the pupusas!! It's almost like my mother cooked meals. I finally came over a facility serving food like my mother. The place is small and cozy.
