Village Smithy - Carbondale

Kudos to village smithy for a vegan tofu cube, veggie green chili and the impossible burger. hopefully they will offer in future more options! Maybe olive oil instead of butter on the toast?

Great breakfast place. in an antidote that is not very vegan/vegetarian friendly, this place is a beautiful surprise. The Tofu Scrambble is delicious and has beautiful pieces of sweet in mix. I like it is fluffy and yellow (tumeric) instead of Bland-Chunks. the hashbrowns are good and the kashi and zucchini pilaf (schmied 7) is a unique side. they also have some veggie lunch items.

My husband and I came to Village Smitty to brunch together and we have the best server in Restaurant Alli is their name. She was so knowledge about the menu give us suggestions and they recommended us the Belgian waffles! She was right that they are the best we ever try in the valley. We will not only come back for food, but also for the great service that Alli gave us.
