Soul Cartel - Canberra

On our last visit to Lonsdale St, I thought I knew what I wanted to eat from the various options, then I spotted Soul Cartel. I had to try it. Their food is amazing. The Chicken Sandwich is ridiculously good. Service was very friendly and prompt. Will certainly return.

Called in for lunch and decided to have the smoked wings. They were well smoked, and smothered in a tasty buffalo sauce that was literally "finger lickin" good. Have eaten their chicken burger previously and it is also very good. It is tucked away at the back of the Hamlet but is worth heading to for a great American feed. Menu is kept "lean and tight" and the guys know what they are doing.

I ordered the onion rings (who doesn't like a good serve of onion rings), and a pulled beef roll. I'm trying to remember what came in the roll but it's gone. Oh well!!I've got to say that the onion rings looked quite flash and they didn't disappoint. Very tasty. The beef roll didn't look too flash, sorry team. In fact, it looked pretty ordinary but luckily the flavour made up for that. Really good, big flavours, so I really enjoyed it. The service of the big fella and young lady in the food truck was top notch, very friendly. They don't serve alcohol, but the nearby pizza and one of the other shops sell grog, so you can buy it there and bring it back into the open eating area.

Love this place. Everything I've eaten here has been fantastic. Good honest food and great service. If you're in Canberra add this to your list of places to go.

Southern American deliciousness! I have tried everything on the menu, and it never disappoints. Whatever you do, order the side of dirty fries.
