Casey Jones - Canberra

Ordered a kids meal and a few plates to share on the electronic system from the table. Food arrived as ordered and fairly promptly. I don't think you get a full-service experience when ordering this way, but when it works, it's quite efficient. Was a busy night with a private function upstairs; and was pretty noisy but an overall good vibe and easy option, even with a child in tow. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Worth a visit.

Gf options very disappointing No chips only mash? with z burger? gf spaghetti overcooked and in small bits, chicken salad w/o chicken (vegan)same charge even tho just s bowl of greens for $22? Fish was good but salad limp and slimy Was good and popular with our family but things need to imkrove

We ordered a number of starters and a burger to share between us and all the food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and organized too. Also, as a family we appreciate the small touch of ensuring there are plenty of necessities for little ones in the change room. We have been coming here since opening, and it’s so pleasing to see the restaurant return to its former glory of efficient and friendly service and high quality foods.

I went out with my partner and a couple of friends to Casey Jones Pub for dinner on 22 February 2021. I ordered a schnitzel, my partner had a steak and my friends had fish and chips. The steak and fish and chips arrived a good 15 minutes before my chicken schnitzel. I had to go up and ask a staff member where my food was reminding them of my order. By the time the food arrived there was no apology for the delay and everyone else had finished eating. The schnitzel tasted fine however I found a dead bug at the bottom of my coleslaw. I told one of the staff and she said “thanks for letting me know I’ll tell the kitchen”. No apology was provided and no offer for a free drink or any sort of compensation. I was now put off eating the rest of the meal. As the bug was at the bottom of the slaw it had no just flown in and landed on the food (see attached photo). I worked in hospitality previously and this is very unprofessional. I will not be returning.

Gday All It’s not quite my local but close enough Very good menu Parmigiana of course Beers are good Try the Ginger beer on a hot day Good crowd ... never really too busy but always people around ... it’s casual and welcoming TVs for sports if you like that Live music ... needs an Adrenalin shot lol Sorry mate you’re killing good songs Highly recommended Cheers all Robbee
