Cafe Alibi - Canberra

Food quality is good, presentation is excellent, service is prompt and friendly. We had a classic burger, Greek salad, fries, a chicken shish taouk special and a fresh juice. $57 total. Chairs are uncomfortable, tables too low and/or seat to high. This is a great...place for a quick lunch.

This place is the place to go to for breakfast. It's hidden in amongst the Canberra high rise buildings on Farrell st. very tidy and the eggs Benedict are cooked to perfection. Table water is supplied as is free local news papers to read whilst...you wait. Overall cafe alibi is right up there with the best for an early morning feed.

Busy cafe in the high rises of the new bit of western Civic. Ate here today, and from entering the service was top notch, impeccable, from every staff member. I got a coffee here a few weeks back and resolved to return to eat, it...was so nice. Food is good, decent cafe fare, bright and fresh and quick, I'll eat here again. But the stand-out is the genuine, constant and high-quality service. I've eaten at hatted restaurants in Melbourne who lack this level of service. It's consistent, too, every staff member is so focussed on on-song. Plus, the cafe has all the main newspapers laid out. I seriously love cafes who do this.

For breakfast or lunch the service and quality are always very good. Tucked away for those in the know. The service is unpretentious and friendly. Lunch often has a specials board and the owner, Mick, will alter any meal to suit. The venue is better...suited for smaller numbers rather than large groups.

Café Alibi is my 'go to ' café in Canberra on a work day. Breakfast is generous I love the baked eggs and the omelettes. The special menu is always worth a look and, as a salad eater at lunch time, I always find a hearty...salad. I would say that I eat here 2 to 3 times a week for business or with friends! Coffee is really good too. Mick and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. We have had office catering done many times by Alibi and it is always good. Mick finds time to treat you as special and requests for off menu items are often even accommodated. What a find!
