Mamma Rosa's Pizzas - Burnie

I ordered a great feast and my service from Austin was greater than the $31.59 that we paid for pizza delivery!!! MAMA ROSA BURNIE AND ATO AUSTRALIA PLEASE GIVE AUSTIN A PAY RISE !!!!

A unique pizza. Not a pizza for purists, its not a New York or Napoli style pizza, its it's own thing. A proper greasy (in a good way) takeaway pizza with a thin yet hefty base, with the option for a very large family size. Toppings are generous, without being overloaded, obviously down to a fine art because it always cooks evenly. I'm not a fan of ham on pizza, as most places overload a pizza with thick chunks of ham and it prevents the pizza from cooking properly, not the case here. The ham is very thin, almost like small bits of bacon, with a smoky flavour. The cheese is cheddar or some blend, rather than mozzarella. Unusual, not traditional, but fits perfectly with the style. Its something like a homemade, corner store type pizza, cheap and cheerful, and yet better than that sounds. This isn't fine dining or artisan pizza, this is proper fill you up and guilty pleasure pizza. Fantastic alternative and better value for feeding the family or group of friends rather than the commercial chains.

Pizza family size Delivered. Value for Money ...Yes Taste....3 out of 5 Ordered half n half Lot/Mushroom Disappointing that Canned Mushrooms used. Could have been a cracker of a pizza. Taste let down ...Canned Mushrooms just dont have flavour and texture I hoped to receive..but a slimey feel instead of a Fresh Mushroom taste and texture. Yes i will order again...but will not order mushrooms.

This is my experience. I ordered a pizza and asked for it to be delivered. Was told it would take 15 minutes, but took well over an hour. Couldn't even apologise on the phone. I had to call them to find out what was going on. So people are expected to wait over an hour for a pizza now, when they were told it would take 15 minutes? Terrible.
