Wow, this place seems destined to follow in the footsteps of the former O'Charley's that used to be near the mall... CLOSED FOR GOOD. They really don't seem to want to...
We were absolutely thrilled with our experience. This restaurant was open on Christmas Eve, which was a pleasant surprise, and our server, Sarah, was exceptionally kind. We have visited here several times, and it has consistently been...
The staff were friendly, but the food was enjoyable for one of us and disappointing for the other. It seems there was little consistency in the quality. Our table was sticky, and the floor was the same. The place had a worn-out vibe, as if it had been around for 20 years. I really wanted to like it, but it just didn’t justify the price. I think we would have had a better experience at a waffle house. With so many excellent options nearby, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
The first bread served with olive oil didn't impress me; it was too bitter and had a strange taste. However, the bruschetta was excellent—probably one of the best I’ve had because the bread was well-toasted, and all the toppings were delicious. I also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were decent, but the caramelization didn’t quite work for me. For the main courses, I had a pasta dish with pesto and rigatoni, along with sun-dried tomatoes, roasted peppers, and broccolini. That was genuinely good, with the pesto being well-balanced. I did expect the broccolini to be larger since it was quite small, but it was still tasty. I also ordered the mushroom ravioli, which was delightful. Surprisingly, it had a sweet note that was unexpected but added to the overall flavor. I enjoyed it very much, although I felt there were too many mushrooms on top—I ended up not eating most of them. Overall, it was a filling meal, not excessively creamy or heavy, which I appreciate. This restaurant has solid offerings. There were some aspects I didn’t particularly like (hence my 4 stars instead of 5), but I would definitely return. The flavors are distinct compared to typical Italian restaurants like Olive Garden, and I liked that. One last thing: the service was very quick, but that might have been due to the restaurant being relatively empty.
