Boulder Creek Coffee - Buford

I love my coffee there... I like the music and I can work in my laptop and enjoy a good coffee... the ice coffee is good but nothing like the hot late...

Authentic...unique...delicious great service. When I travel throughout metro Atlanta or across the country, I seek out the best coffee shops. I 've found some really excellent ones. I do Starbucks, too, but prefer individually-owned cafes whose staff are passionate about great coffee customer service. BCC has both. And it 's right here in the Lawvl./Buford/Suwanee/Dacula corner of Gwinnett County near the MOG. How often do you hear a barrista say, 'I want to make you a perfect cup of coffee. ' I want to see this cafe thrive in spite of this bad economy b/c this area of Atlanta doesn 't have anything equal to BCC, it 's 4 minutes from our house. How lucky are we!

I've been going to BC since it was called Brew Awakenings. It has come a long way and I'm happy to say its my coffee house home. There is no bad drink and the baristas are very pleasant. The drinks take some time but you can expect an excellent cup of coffee which was brewed with skill, as opposed to the coffee chain which pours it from a spout. Fantastic atmosphere and always buzzing with people. I highly recommend!

Exquisite coffee but service from one staff member ruined my experience. I had heard nothing but wonderful words about Boulder Creek Coffee. I decided to give the coffee a try, and the coffee lived up to its expectations. I started going to the coffee house on a regular basis, and referred this adorable cafe to everyone I knew. The two gentlemen had always kindly greeted me and were always friendly, however, on one occasion I went in for my regular drink of choice. As I ordered MY drink the barista, she scrunched her face in disgust telling me that I basically should not be ordering my drink that particular way, and that she would make it HER way; and if I did not like it then I would not have to pay the difference. Needless to say, I did not like her drink in which I told her that, so she unhappily made me my drink I originally ordered. Shockingly, she charged me anyways and made a few extra rude comments. I did not say anything to her in order to avoid an argument. Not to mention, I saw her previously harassing another man out of putting creamer in his black coffee. Who does that??The girl's sour attitude makes me want to rethink about giving any more money to the company. It is unfortunate because the rest of the staff is always friendly, plus they have the most superb drinks. Hopefully the company did themselves a favor and got rid of this girl who is bad for business.

Coffee and Sweets. Cute little coffee place with yummy cupcakes espresso and pineapple upside down are standouts. Friendly staff, good vibe, sparkling clean, and adjoining a cool bookstore.
