New Capitol - BRONX

Just a couple of Brits needing food and a break in the Bronx. Found this place excellent Diner experiance for a tourist like myself. Waitress was helpful and served us with a relaxed attitude, gave us great recommendations. Quiet, relaxed atmopshere. No faults.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the Strawberry Cheesecake. However, there was some confusion with our server. A young man initially helped us by seating us and taking our order, but later on a young woman took over. When we needed something, the first server would just point to the second server. This caused some issues with the service as neither checked on us frequently.

We had a great experience at New Capital. I believe we stopped by during a bus trip to Niagara Falls. It was our first time there and the atmosphere was fantastic. I highly recommend visiting if you have the opportunity!

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and they have never gotten my order wrong. It's the best! Now I bring my kid here and he loves it too!
