We came on Tuesday night. enjoy x 2 steak stampede. good quality steaks, veg steamed to perfection. our son had spag bol, not completely overcooked. it was also served with a small side of steamed veg, followed by a good value at $52 for 3 meal times. honest country pub. makes a beautiful change of overpriced pretentious meal we get in melbourne

Everyone so often comes with a pub that gets eat right. this is not one of them, never an excellent meal, some are pleasant and passable, but more often than I do not leave mad by the experience and bite repeatedly thinking, a tiger can change its strip or another analogy like this. a special pasta Wednesday may have been especially when it 't served in the dishes water it was overcooked, not even resemble 'pasta', but more a backwash of baby vomiting with some left meat thrown for good measure. the 300g hull is a further example of how the likes of a amateur chef can be easily occupied by this device and can be passed as a chef. medium rare is the standard, never reached, either by overcooking or undercooking the meat that makes a chewing, indigestible abyss. the waiting staff is enough of a joy they tend to forget the overpriced beer. a hit and miss eating experience that misses more than hits, especially with the release of Cob-Loaf for the less appetising buttered rock plates or what they call 'garlic brot' judgement: swill but never grill

The service was fantastic! the meals were also great. I recommend the steak that is cooked by itself on the stone plate

We have now had two bad experiences here the first time we sent a steak back 3 times it was orded medium well at first it came out medium rare then medium before coming out medium-well we were offered a free dessert that was never delivered. Being our local pub we thought we would try again and take clients from qld after waiting an hour for our meals we ordered 3 of the same pork dishes one dish was great how ever the other 2 smelt and tasted as if the meat was turning it was totally different to the other meal when we bought this to the staffs attention we were treated with hostility and when asked to rectify the meal we were first ignored then after asking a seconded staff member we were still ignored for 20 mins the third time we walked to the counter and asked to speak with the manager we spoke with the assistant manager who said there wasn't anything wrong with the meals after this we asked for a refund as we retuned the full dish after being told this wasn't happening the best he could do was offer a meal voucher which we would except as one of the clients was returning to qld we were told that if a refund was given we would be banned from returning. After having clients driving 7 hours that they could of eaten anything... Eventually a Big Mac from McDonalds with with terrific service sorted their hunger. We are not complainers however we have never experienced an attitude such as this before.
