Spice and Pepper Cafe and Restaurant

The food was superb fresh, subtly spiced and melt in the mouth gorgeous. Due to Covid it was only available for take away when we visited and it is very popular so be prepared to wait. But it's worth it! I have travelled widely throughout India and this is definitely up there with the best I have ever had.

Delicious! We are big fans of Indian cuisine and have travelled in India for a month, so we can say this was excellent. We started with the Fish Lehone for appetizer and tried the chef's special Chicken Fish Rezala with saffron rice. The restaurant is located at the Whitsunday Sands Resort and is open to the public. You will be pleasantly surprised to find this level of quality in Far North Queensland.

Absolutely fantastic little Indian. Very authentic delicious food cooked by very talent chef/s. Best Indian I’ve had in Oz so far. Highly recommend!

This is real authentic Indian food!! Recommend you don't miss out on it when you're in Bowen!! It's tasty as if you're in India or England. Shout it out to all looking for tasty food. Tell them your spice profile because using 6 soices in every dish, to create true Indian flavours, you want to match yours to all they have to offer. Authentic, yummy Indian food!!

This restaurant is not worth your money. The Indian food is the worst I have ever tasted. Everything is greasy and tastes the same. I wish there was a better Indian option in Bowen. Additionally, the prices are very high.
