Bowen Hotel

Another super stay at the Bluewater Hotel. The staff are always welcoming and the hotel is pleasant, clean and suitably quiet.

Popular pub meals. $13 rump steak with pepper sauce was really tasty, well cooked and highly recommended. We also had great prawns and burger that was polished off nicely. Sit down at table, then go up and order at counter and they deliver to your table.

The restaurant was not busy yet the service was slow. I have been here a few times and Imam not impressed, not my choice. It is noisy because of the bar and gambling sounds.

Great place .. Good vibe .. Excellent dinners for children .. Fresh and big (huge) meals .. Everything you would expect from pub grub .. Highly recommend it !!

First time in Bowen and we recommended the Hotel for good quality food. We were not disappointed. Steak was cooked to perfection. I had the seafood topper on my steak and it was super delicious The staff were really friendly and we found the Manager Debbie more than helpful. She is a great ambassador for the town as well as your Hotel. Some aspects of the decor are a little tired it did not distract us from our enjoyable evening.
