Friends American Grill - Bethlehem

I have no complaints! Everyone loved their food, except for the chicken tenders—my daughter just has high standards when it comes to those, and these didn’t quite measure up. My Chicken Philly was delicious, served hot, and extra cheesy! My picky son enjoyed his grilled cheese, although it was quite small. The chips and queso were tasty as well. My favorite was definitely the onion rings! Our waitress was fantastic: the food arrived hot and quickly, just as we ordered.

This was the worst meal I've ever had from this restaurant, and honestly, it's the worst food I've had in a long time. I ordered the French Dip with loaded mashed potatoes, and the bread was stale, while the mushrooms tasted questionable at best. The worst part, though, was the au jus. I'm grateful I don't have high blood pressure; otherwise, I might have ended up with a stroke! It tasted like 5 pounds of salt mixed with brown water, all served in a tiny plastic container. I was left craving 10 gallons of water and a giant straw. Absolutely terrible!

I tried the Pimento Cheese Wontons for $10, and they were great. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap, priced at $9, could have benefited from a little more buffalo sauce or a side of it. As for DAD’s Fish and Chips, which also cost $9, I wished they offered malt vinegar to accompany the fish. Unfortunately, the service was a bit lacking—I'd rate it a 7. Our server, Kirsten G, was slow and didn’t smile at all. We wanted to order the Killer Brownie for dessert, but it took her so long to return to our table that we decided to leave instead.

Good food. Helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back again.

I've ordered a variety of dishes and all of them have been good. The shrimp and grits are no longer on the menu so I ordered the Knickerbocker Tavern sandwich with fries. It was more than I could eat at one sitting.
