Someone in our party couldn't eat in the restaurant, and they were more than happy to accommodate the group for outdoor seats. My whole group enjoyed the food. Great service! Parking wasn't challenging either? Excellent Pad Thai and Curry.
Great lunch. Very cheap for lunch. Outside seats have some shade after 1:00 and there was a nice breeze on an 85-degree day. You can also see the Fishkill Falls at lunch. Service was good. Food was good, esp the green curry and mango sticky rice. Also the roasted tofu and Thai ice tea was good.
I visited Beacon with my friend from Manhattan, ordered the wrong food that made me dissatisfied with our lunch. Her twice cooked beef was salty, crispy piece of beef fat, hard to chew very dry. The salad that came on the side (Papaya salad) of my plate was overgrown with sodium, too salty. My friend who went to Thailand himself said the food was not authentic. She ordered chicken coconut soup. Stuff was very nice and gave me her employee discount of $5 because I didn't like it and the Twice Cooked Beef didn't finish.
$20 for what they say is Larb Salat. When I came home, I wondered why I had simple rice on the side as the dish is largely over roasted rice and vegetables. Instead, his one tablet of hot ground chicken. No roasted rice at all. I asked for medium spices and his hot, which were in vain *might* had been the most important ingredients on the point. I tried to eat it, but it smells disgusting. The only two bites I tried had to be eaten with pure white rice. That was the most expensive larvae salad ever had, and it wasn't even edible. I never had a Thai meal anywhere, which was really disgusting. I threw the whole thing out after two bites. I've never done this with any Thai food in my life and I have had Thai food in this whole country. When reading other reviews, I think they recycle and mix all oils because they smell like garbage fish that had already been thrown out.
The food was delicious, Thai ice tea ? too, and the service is good, I order Pad Thai with no peanuts, and the town is cute the Sukhothai is very close to the waterfall. I Recommend
