Max's On Main - Beacon

The staff was friendly and accommodating. We opted to sit outside and ordered steak for the kids and grilled cheese. I decided to try the whiskey ribeye, which was delicious, especially with the butter that was served with it. However, I deducted one star because my steak came out tougher than expected, even though I usually order it rare.

Big bar on Main St. In Beacon NY. Went last night and it was great, the low key has felt dipping bar, but without the drama. The bartender Lindsey was great, welcoming and good at her job. They had a young lady last night singing melodies and she was brilliant. The prices are average, the drinks are well poured. On the way out I met the owner Richard and what a grateful man. He introduced himself and we talked about pizza shops where I used to live. Great people. Definitely a spot-yo meets when you are in the Beacon area and want some drinks, cool atmosphere, amazing staff and to be honest, all about a great place. 5 place safe. I will return, unfortunately for the ears of people it will be on Kareoke Night (Thursdays)

This place is just a collection of rock star people. Rich is great and really takes care of the experience. The bartenders are nice, honest and sincere. Guinness is excellent. And the wings are extraordinary. The live music was great (Chris Raabe, look at it). The trivia night was legit. Real questions cleverly asked and good humor in it. And the regular... I'll be friends with some of them for the rest of my life.

Friendly staff, good food and beer, karaoke... I had French Onion soup and Cajun Pasta with shrimps, both delicious.

One of the best places for a drink and a good meal. The staff is friendly and management is always present to make sure everyone has a great time.
