Beautiful atmosphere, friendly and quiet, food was cheap and lots of great, very good salads and meat, many thin ones to choose.

Great menu a good selection of dishes, all well cooked and inexpensive. The staff is friendly and helpful. English Menu available.

If you use public transport, the Jägerstube is conveniently located opposite the last stop in Allschwil of tram No. 6. We have just fallen for a quick beer as a relief from the heat. I went for Belgium Grimbergen while my friend went for the Kilkenny. It was suitable for cold refreshing. Since it was a creepy day, it was also ice creams. You have a very good ice cream menu with prices that are somewhat lower than in the center of Basel, but not cheap. They are in Switzerland. I wish I could make it a jazz brunch tomorrow. Will be back sometime.

We were 6 Persons,it was a Birthday Dinner and we all had a wonderfull time! The waitress was just lovely and so friendly.Food was great,we had soup,meet,salads,pasta and french fries.Kitchen ist traditional swiss and they have allways season specials.The prices are ok,ist Switzerland,but u have realy something...for your money!A Risotto with meet was 30. swiss francs,and it was delicious!They have a lovely easter decoration and u can sit outside if u like.Its close to the street but not loud and u can do the people watching .

Here for lunch, it was a beautiful traditional place meal quite simple, but beautiful Swiss atmosphere. It didn't help me to read the menu so my choice of food wasn't really my taste (Dink Spam... with roasted egg above! so maybe... with better Swiss language skills I could have chosen something better!
