Grenzwert Bar - Basel

Very nice and chic furnished bar. outdoor (very close to the rhein) and indoor, both cozy though the comfort in the interior is much higher. the prices are reasonable and the waiting time is rather low, even at high operating. I want to come back. :

We had some drink here with friends. Cocktails were pretty fine and the staff was very friends. I like the decoration a lot, it is very relax and cozy place in the evenings.

This bar ticks a lot of boxes, nice ambience, good staff, great range of drinks and good music. I also have to point out that the menu is perfect for a bar, burgers, ribs, burritos and so on but for god's sake cook it with some love. Decent burger, overcooked chips, small burrito and terrible salad, all that is missing is a bit of care and imagination in the kitchen and they're on a winner here. Shame.

We were here on a couple during the pre-Christmas period. nice atmosphere, good service, good beer

The limit value is, despite the name that points to a flag, in the heart of basel. here you are, who you are. Not at all, that you always have to pay the drinks immediately; an unsympathetic no go.
