Found Marietjies pub in this little town called Baardskeerdersbos directly translated Beardtornbush. Even though we did not have anything to eat it was just nice have a chat to the staff and browsing around. The owner is Marietjie who allows people from the community to sell their beautiful unique handcrafts like crochet blankets and toys, dream catchers, macrame bags, paintings and even some fresh vegetables in her shop. Please stop and support the community.
Wow!! An awesome breakfast and great outdoor eating area. The chips were the best I have ever had! And the biggest breakfast platter that served all five of us.... and we were well satisfied! If you are in Baardskeerdersbos it's a great place to visit!
A lovely place to eat in tranquil surroundings. The food was great and delicious. Had dinner and breakfast there. Highly recommended.
Internationally renowned for their breakfasts. Brilliant rural pub You have to experience Marietjies if you are in the area.
