Grinder's Deli - Austin

Staff is always very helpful and friendly. I'm a meat lover and always get the same sandwich. Prices are up there considering they don't have a combo option so, sandwich+chips+drink but they are GOOD.

Walked to this spot on a whim and was not disappointed. Had the special (Christopher Walken) and the Poblano soup. That poblano soup was creamy with just the right amount of spice and a perfect roasted poblano flavor. The sandwich had fresh veggies with these awesome house made pickles dressed with a sriracha mustard and a blue agave aioli with some sliced turkey and ham with melted cheese all over. Everything was definitely fresh and delicious. The vibe is South Austin all the way the staff and the patrons were all very friendly. I'll definitely be back regularly to this place.

Update 2021: Ignore the 1 and 2 star reviews, those people must be just trying to be annoying or upset about Covid. This place is still amazing. They now offer window service with outdoor seating, and all employees wear masks. I tried the red pepper soup today and it was delicious, just like everything else I've had here. If you want a quick sandwich, go to Subway. If you want a fresh, delicious sandwich with great service, this is the place for you.

G's Deli in Austin is a hidden gem. I have been going there since last year and have never been let down. The bread is always fresh, the meat is tender and succulent, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I highly recommend G's to my family and friends when they visit Austin.

The sandwiches are incredibly tasty and there is a wide variety to choose from. Luckily, the staff was very helpful in suggesting one to us. The sandwich we ordered was fantastic! We will definitely return.
