Ceviche By Besos Latinos - Auckland

The food was fantastic, with excellent quality and generous portion sizes. The restaurant was extremely busy, and unfortunately, our first choice for a main dish had already sold out. The chefs and waitstaff were clearly overwhelmed, and it was evident they could have used more help to manage the large number of customers. Fortunately, everyone remained patient. However, one of our main dishes was overlooked and forgotten. When we were asked if we were ready to leave or order more food, we had to remind them that we were still waiting for our meal. Thankfully, this was resolved quickly, and they offered us half off the price for that particular main dish.

Tequila! A huge thank you to Besos Latinos for the absolute best margaritas I've ever had in New Zealand. The ceviche, tuna tostadas, and guacamole with chips were also incredible. The owners are very friendly, and the view is fantastic. We enjoyed a lovely lunch outside.

The moment you step into the restaurant, you'll be captivated by its exotic ambiance. The authentic Mexican food is absolutely delicious. We began with the cheese dip with chorizo, which was super tasty. The taco de toro was a bit on the salty side, but the traditional alambre with chicken breast and mushrooms was incredibly tender. Our starters arrived quickly, but the main dishes took a little longer. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely return!

In my personal experience I really enjoyed this place, I had the chance to speak to whom I think was the owner and she explained that everything in the restaurant comes from Mexico, traditional artists, hand made tables, their own tequila straight from Tequila Jalisco Mexico, eating here was a wonderful experience as is not only a delight to the sight but also delicious, the flavours are amazing, this place is a must for those who love Mexican food but want to try something different.
