It's a really cute and nice store. They have a good selection of books. I also liked the other things that they sell like cards, stickers and art prints. I got a really nice locally made card for $6. All the employees were friendly and helpful. The bathroom is nice and was very clean. I think there is only one and it is the kind that is it's own room. So you have the whole thing to yourself. My partner and I ordered iced lattes. They were really good. They were made pretty quickly, especially since there were a lot of orders ahead of us. I ordered mine with oat milk and my partner ordered hers with regular milk. We were not aware which one was which as they were not marked. I had to go back and ask. We also both had baked goods. They were good and tasted nice and fresh! There is a little area to sit and eat. Lots of people were working on computers and it was a quite, nice spot to sit and eat/drink. On a weekday, we were able to find close parking easily. It was street parking and it was just down the street. It was a quick walk and had a sidewalk the whole way.
I bought 3 books, all super cheap. They are used books (at least the ones I bought) and so that's why they were cheaper but honestly I think this place is somewhere you'll wanna stop by if you enjoy books and reading. 3 books for like $30 instead bad to me.
Not to be dramatic, but I want to live here. I am living in Anacortes this summer and have frequently visited the store. This is heaven for a book lover, let alone a coffee drinker. I've never had a bad latte. Though a lot of the books aren't as modern and up to date as they could be, it only adds to their charm. I've found everything I need! If you get hungry, their pastry section is limited, so I recommend grabbing a bite to eat from one of the many quaint shops down the street. Their hot honey cardamom latte is to die for. I almost fell over in the street the first time I tried it, that's how good it is. I could spend hours in here reading, studying, or browsing. Please go if you get the chance.
Lovely book shop coffee house. Definitely worth a look when you're in the area.
