Firefly - Amado

Hurry hurry hurry and get yourselves to Firefly restaurant! They are closing 8/8/2020. Everything is delicious! They plan to find anew location and open again with the Firefly name....Firefly has a wonderful menu that accommodates your taste. They have outdoor seating with spectacular views!

Kind of expensive but fairly good food. Service was great.

First time we came here and we were not disappointed. We were looking for something new without driving too far from where we live. First of all, the location is a very short distance from the freeway so there's easy access. It's located in what appears to be an old ranch. The menu is very limited which is nice in a day where it seems that you're reading a novel and not a menu. What they offer also seems to change by the occasion. On this day we were attracted to a champagne chicken. It was delicious!! The grilled veggies that accompanied the meal were well cooked while still retaining enough of their crunch. We also had crepes poulet (chicken for those who don't parley). The chicken on both dishes was nice and moist. We accompanied it with a glass each of Arizona micro brew. Finished it off with a a la mode bread pudding which was not too sweet as some can be. We are glad we came here!!!

I already know what to order next! Love this place! My fiancé found and took me to this unassuming, ranch setting restaurant with gardens and amazing views. And what’s more amazing is the food! Fresh, cooked to perfection. A Must try and try again experience. 2019!2020 review! Best burgers anywhere!!!!! Just adding an ongoing review form 2019. We come here every weekend and it gets better and better and always surprising new desert added to the menu. And always ask if thee chef has something new whipped up, like the fresh cut fries or key lime in a cup. We love this place!!!! And check out the garden in the back, a short lovely walk after a wonderful meal every time. And the best staff ever! #supportlocal

That was my first visit to firefly, and since I no longer live in the opposite, not sure if I will come back soon. I think it opened a few years.
