Roots And Wings Distillery

We love going to Roots and Wings! There is a nice outdoor patio to sit and have a couple drinks. There is also a container space which is nice if the weather isn't great to sit outside. It's a nice relaxed vibe. The staff are friendly and drinks are great.We also had a private event at RAW and they were amazing to communicate and work with.

Really nice welcoming staff and definitely open for business. Nice inside space, nice patio space, was a busy place, had a tasting, and we'll come back for some food and an evening. The products had some interesting names and remember Johnny Handsome and Doug to name a few. Had a sample of the Bourbon and was rough.

It's a great little spot, unfortunately that's where the good part ended, we went there thinking we were having wings with our drinks, apparently the name has nothing to do with what they serve , extremely Limited menu with very small portions of bread and veggies basically, the Caesar I got which took over 30 minutes to get there was supposed to be a 5 pepper spicy Caesar was very tasteless and had way more ice than liquids in it, got a few flights of different things that weren't so bad but alcohol content certainly didn't seem to be there and for looking forward to coming to this place for the last 6 months was extremely disappointed by the whole table,$170 bill for way below average food and drinks sucked. And after reading the other reviews and noticing the reserved seats at the front I couldn't help but think what a terrible way to do business then to put yourself before you're paying customers, especially when those seats sat empty the whole time we were there. Definitely won't be back, I'd have to say the only way those five-star reviews come up are from the people that get to sit in those front seats with the owner. ...., answer to your reply ,It wasn't the taste of alcohol missing,, it was like drinking mocktails. A $12 Caesar that probably had no more than 3 oz of liquid in it which was supposedly containing 1 oz of alcohol should have made me cringe.

Well worth the visit. We recently discovered RAW! The patio is so private and we got such a warm welcome. We both tried flights whisky for me and gin for me wife. We had charcuterie cups which were much more generous than we expected. Such a fun experience and incredible flavours matched only by Fiona's excellent service. We'll be back!
