We came for the waffles and thoroughly enjoyed them! Abundant strawberry toppings and whipping cream made for lovely presentation. Very thankful for the gluten free option for the pancakes, so that everyone in our group could enjoy the same brunch. We also enjoyed the live, Sunday afternoon entertainment, and a stroll through the flower gardens. Thank you!

Just go here for quality U-Pick.They make sure the visitors can pick well by closing/opening sections regularly. Line-ups for food seem to take forever though.

An awesome place. Perfect for a family outing or get together. Yes it's a little pricey, but there's ways of bringing it down. You can buy for instance a whole pie and share. Or just each have half of a waffle so that you could also buy a full bucket of ice cream as well and share it between all of you. When we go we bring an ice cream scoop, bowls, spoons, extra plates and forks, a knife to cut and even a serving utensil. You may not bring in outside food or beverage, so be prepared that you will be paying a quite a bit. Even a small water is a $1.75. However I have been to different fairs around Vancouver that have cost me $20 admission which gave me nothing but an ability to walk through the entrance. So when you think about it being free to come in, watch the entertainment, walk through the gorgeous gardens stores etc., It's not a bad deal at all. Also remember, as I missed it the first time, you need to make sure to visit the building that houses their wine. It's absolutely beautiful inside. Such character has been developed inside, as It sets you back a few years! Saddles for bar stools, and a wine steward who's completely dressed for the part, brings such a nice flair to the whole experience. Also there's some air conditioning in there, so a good place to sample a flight of wines, and catch your breath from the hot sun. Also you can enjoy walking through the different entrances that have misters, which feels really nice. It's all wheelchair accessible, and the nicest bathroom for the older folk, would be found in the winery. During certain hours on the weekend there's also live entertainment. Be ready for a little walk from the parking to the festivities, and know that a lot of the walking area outside is loose gravel. So if that's the kind of thing that bothers you, wear closed shoes. Not only can you pick your own berries when they're in season, but you can also pick your own bouquet of flowers. What a delight. Enjoy!

I had a long wait for my waffle. It sat on the tray for five minutes while the staff attended to other customers. I was confused as to why the employee was standing there instead of serving. Unfortunately, insects and bees were buzzing around and even landed on my waffle while I waited. When I finally received it, the waffle was soggy and unappetizing. I took it back to the manager, but she didn’t even apologize for the poor service I experienced. Instead, she was dismissive, asking what I wanted and claiming she didn’t want to argue. Her behavior was unacceptable for a manager and very unprofessional. Overall, it was a terrible experience!
