In a relatively quiet environment without much competition, you can thoroughly search for products. There is a wide variety of products available, including local specialties other than bonito. Specifically, you can find items such as tea, shochu, and pork miso. According to a review from 4 years ago, even if you come by car from a distant location 2-3 hours away, there is a paid service available to keep the purchased bonito from melting using dry ice, which costs 108 yen. The parking lot is relatively spacious.

I visited in March 2021. There are about 20 parking spaces in front of the store. There doesn't seem to be any seating inside for dining. Local specialties from Makurazaki, as well as frozen bonito and frozen tuna, are sold in the store.

This shop is clean and easy to shop at.

枕崎までかつおのたたきを買いに行きました。 ２割引きでした。 家に宅配便で送りました。 美味しく頂きました。 ニンニクポン酢も買いましたが、合いました。
