Chanced upon the Heritage whilst holidaying. Nice location, frontage and inside is nicely decorated making it welcoming. Very balanced menu with not too much on offer which made us think food would be fresh cooked. Turned out to be correct, food was excellent. Nice not to have chips, lovely creamy mash instead. Nice staff including Chef who came out to enquire. Recommended. Service: Dine in

I had the pleasure of dining at Heritage Restaurant in Hermanus, and it was a truly delightful experience! The fresh hake with lemon butter sauce and chips was expertly prepared and presented, and while the portion was modest, it was more than enough to satisfy my appetite. The real pièce de résistance was the stunning ocean view, which was only enhanced by the cozy warmth of the fireplace on a gloomy day. I couldn't resist the temptation of the trio ice cream with drizzled orange sauce a decadent treat that did not disappoint! The service was top notch, with attentive wait staff and a personal touch from the chef/owner who took the time to come out and greet us. Overall, Heritage Restaurant is a must visit destination for anyone in the area the food, view, and hospitality are all exceptional! 9.5/10
