Zen Wishes - ZIHUATANEJO

Litlle by little (or poca a poca as they say here in Zihua) Zen Wishes is becoming one of our favorite breakfast spots downtown. The menu presents much the same as others: omelettes, coffees, juices, etc. but the presentation is decidedly different. My Ranch omelette of onions, tomatoes and cheese topped with just the right amount of salsa came "square", served between two delicious slices of grilled bread. My husband was glad it was a bit too much food for me as he happily consumed what I could not. He had an egg and bacon sandwich just as yummy. He declares this place to have the best cafe mocha in town. The services is excellent and English is spoken here. The ambiance is Mediterranean-bistro.

We were there on a early morning in June and found the staff warmer than the weather...which was good! They make a egg white omelet that is above par and their slasa isn't too hot at all. Good english, good company, you'd enjoy! No plastic (cards). Seems to be the story in Zihu, no body likes credit cards.

Came upon this place walking around downtown Zihua. Very nice owner who speaks excellent English and whom we fouind very helpful. Bit more N American place. Great coffee and breakfasts. I would recommend.

We like this place and its owners a lot, and the food has always been great. It's on a corner with good cross ventilation. All of their coffee is by the cup, and I like it a lot. I have never eaten dinner there, so I don't know what they serve later in the day.
