El Agave - ZIHUATANEJO

The service is very warm and professional; most hospitable and welcoming. The food is exceptional. Kept going back to the camarones Agave but the mole is a taste treat as well. The shrimp were truly cooked to perfection; some of the best we had in Zihua.

Found this restaurant on Tripadvisor. Got a reservation for an early dinner. Margarita was great. Husband ordered the mashed potato chile relleno, wonderful. Wait staff excellent. Tried the Mango Creme dessert, out of this world creamy, yummy. Will definitely visit again.

As an international food blogger and acclaimed nutritionist, I’ve had more culinary experiences than I can recall. As a diehard foodie, I’ve dined at every restaurant that has been recommended to me. I have, however, never experienced more delicious and beautiful food than I have at Agave Restaurant in Zihuatanejo. The flavor combinations are out of this world and everything I have tried has far exceeded my hopes and expectations. The presentation is beautiful, the food is the freshest, the waitstaff is the kindest, and the atmosphere is absolutely magical. My only criticism is that this restaurant is not charging enough for their food, which is nothing shy of perfection. This food is more than a meal, it is true art. I have no hesitations in recommending this restaurant to anyone who is looking for the absolute best that Zihuatanejo has to offer.

Best steaks in ZIH great atmosphere and pleasant personnel great Jamica (sp)sauce on chicken (note not on menu but they do it for folks with allergies and it is fantastic)
