Village Crown - ZETLAND

My family and I tried a drink at the village crown on Sunday night around approx. 9 clock to buy. we sat outside on a table before we went inside to order our drinks at 9:05 a.m. my own and my son in the law went to the pub and tried to order four standard drinks (not cocktails, before being turned away bare in the mind, the bar was closed by 10 o'clock. we then asked another employee before we were rejected for the second time rudely. a blond worker said that the last orders were called at 9 o'clock and customers before 9:10 o'clock had to order their drinks; we tried to order 9:05 and then again at 9:07 clock. the young workers who obviously work could not serve us on a Sunday evening. we were in this pub at many locations and the service is in the regular quite bad, with taking some waiters/waters. this is one of the only pubs in zetland, so that residents do not have much of a choice (sigh! . at this opportunity the attitude of the young blonde girl was not appropriate and should not be tolerated. this place needs a better management and a better dispute process when situations like these occur. we feel that there is a great ‘cba’ attitude! I have been working in hospitality for many years and would never turn off customers at this time the night on a Sunday! that wouldn't bother!

We went to this place as it was in walking distance from merit. we got a cocktail jug at it was amazing when someone in the opposite near deffent stop in the atmosphere was very relaxed and chilled environment.

Unfortunately, eating is not up to its usual standard, there were numerous paints and the last few paints that eating was a slow down, taste is simply not consistent. also holy evening, not playing a Christmas song....come on get in the spirit,.may have attracted more customers as the place was dead!

It was a nice afternoon, we had luck sitting outside and enjoying some refreshments. light brise, great atmosphere. people car and pooch watch. enjoy

It is a pub with a good range of food choices and of reasonable quality. Recommended in week nights, as it gets quite busy over the weekend.
