Only just recently moved to the area so keen to try some new local places. One of the only sit down Italian places that does pasta. Was pretty good, place was relatively empty but were well looked by the staff and is a good little set up. Good menu and food was pretty good. Will be back.
Four of us booked a table for a Friday evening - not really necessary, as the restaurant was surprisingly quiet on this night. Both the menu and wine list offered a good range of dishes and drinks. The veal saltimbocca was a special favourite, but the barramundi and a couple of the pastas also scored plenty of favourable votes. The service was very friendly, but could've been a bit more efficient, given the small number of diners.
We shared two pizzas and they were both excellent. Ambience was quiet even when busy. Drinks were reasonably priced. We both enjoyed the experience and we would return.
We only get takeaway from here as we are local. I eat gluten free pizza and was yet to find one in this area up to speed. This is the best gluten free pizza I have had hands down. I get one of the vegetarian ones and they do not scrimp on toppings and the base is great. A great option for all the "glutards" like me to try out there. Highly recommended. The only thing is the pizza is quite expensive with the gluten free base and the addition of avocado it cost $30. Worth it though due to the taste.
