Falbo’s Rainbow Inn - Youngstown

I visited this cozy and clearly popular local restaurant for the first time. Our waitress, Crissy, was so friendly, and she mentioned that it was my first visit. She has likely been working there for a while. The food was quite good, especially the breaded cod sandwich, coleslaw, and meatballs. Just a heads-up, the spaghetti sauce is on the sweeter side, which isn't my favorite, but it might appeal to you since many in the area enjoy a sweeter sauce. As for parking, there's a small lot on one side and a larger one on the opposite side as well as in the back.

My little one is absolutely in love with your pasta! There's no better day for her than when she gets to enjoy her buttered bread and spaghetti. You really can't go wrong with any dish you choose.

Nice little bar/restaurant off the beaten path. Bar isn’t opened but they do serve alcohol. The owner was super friendly and very nice. Other waitresses very nice too. Food is homemade, made fresh daily (as far as I know). Went on a Friday about 5:30pm and it was packed. We sat on bar side which we like because it was less noisy with all the chatter in the dining area. We ordered the small fish platter. 1/2 fish sandwich, fries, coleslaw $10-11 reasonable. I also order a side of the Haluski (only make it during lent). I will say the fish was delish but the fish portion size to the 1/2 roll was rather small. The haluski was fabulous! Not what I was used to but so good! So good I overlooked the $5 side price. Again home made everything. Can’t wait to go back and try other menu items. I highly recommend trying this place. Parking: Lot is a decent size but it fills up fast at peak times and then you have to hunt for street parking.

Today was my first time getting Rainbow’s food. I had heard good things about the fish sandwiches. Unfortunately, I got takeout for a coworker and I, and neither order was correct. I ordered 2 fish sandwiches with cheese and tartar, one with fries and the other with onion rings. I got 2 sandwiches without cheese, one tartar and one cocktail, 2 fries, no onion rings, and coleslaw we didn’t order. Pretty disappointing for what it cost.
