The location was beautifully designed and the food was delicious. The staff was polite and accommodating, and I highly recommend this unique dining experience to anyone looking for something different.
For $95 per person, one would think you would receive more than 1/3 glass of champagne. The food was good, nothing to write home about. The service was satistactory, again, nothing to write home about. The setting/ambience was 10 stars over the top! You are paying for the experience, so enjoy it. The highlight for me was meeting Tom Papinchak who was the builder of the dining pods among playing a major part in the deconstruction, moving and reconstruction of the houses, which were amazing. All in all a wonderful time, just don't expect any over the top food.
You really are just paying for the ambiance here which cannot go without saying is a 10/10. The food was just as I rated it, fair. We sat in a private dining pod which was really cool. They have heaters and blankets and the vibes were great. But the food was not. We selected our entrees ahead of time. My husband chose filet, I chose pork. We were not told what the other courses would be prior to dinner. The first course was a pulled pork slider sandwich. It was fine. But I wouldn't have ordered pork as my entree had I known we'd be getting a pork first course. The entrees were also just okay. Nothing stood out or was very memorable. And there didn't seem to be any cohesion amongst the dishes. The best thing we got was the bread at the start and the cocktails were great. Dessert was simply not good. It was called a creme brulee but it def was more like a thin pudding consistency. I was not a big fan. The sorbet served between courses was def better. This is a really cool spot and unique experience. It's disappointing that the food doesn't hit the level it should be at for the price they are asking.
Without a doubt the best dining experience Have had in southwestern PA. From the introduction to desert I cannot say enough about this place
Tree Tops Restaurant provides the ultimate dining experience. We celebrated our anniversary with a prix fixe dinner (entree choices allowed, other courses chef's choice) in one of the dining tree houses, which was very private and elegant. The food courses were not only individually superb, but timed to allow for maximum enjoyment. Our server, Kayla, was charming and terrific. Made you feel like you were the only people there. The perfect spot for a special occasion and highly recommend!!!
