A view of Yosemite falls while dining is why you have too make a reservation.. the food is great ..

The atmosphere, the place, the waiters. everything is fine. The food could be tastier. I wish chefs could learn to cook for restaurants at that price

DO NOT waste your time or money on this over priced Yosemite restaurant. We went while visiting for a few days. We wanted to enjoy a great dinner on our last night. 1. We asked about the temperature of the pork chop. The server told us that they use the Sousvide method(meat in a bag) boiled in water. We were shocked that a restaurant with this much hype use the Sousvide method. That is for rookies and 1st grade cooking. They were offering Filet Mignon steaks for $68 cooked in a bag with boiling water. Save your money. Go to the other food options. Pizza in Curry Village Or camp and cook your meal. It will be better. Trust me. Not worth the money or time. This place was the only Bad experience in Yosemite. And our vacation. We did white water rafting, visiting Yosemite and Sonoma wine country. The Mountain Room was a big thorn. P.S. the Mammoth Brewery beers are really good.

Perhaps one of the worst tasting meals in a long time; especially, when you consider the cost. Four of eight people ordered a fish item which was close to unedible. When the butter they provided was the best food item for the evening, you know you have a problem.

Really great place to get food after a long day in yosemite NP! we had the grilled Cesar salad which tasted really good, then we had the soupe du jour-amazing! as for dessert, we had the carrot cake which was delicious! the service was fast and warm, and the atmosphere was really nice
