Fox's Lobster House - York Beach

Nothing says welcome to maine like foxs view and chowda. order some chowda and blueberry cake in the window. then eat on the picnic tables or go a few feet to the nubble light house and sit on the rocks / benches and enjoy the beauty of the maine coast!

We had never been to Maine before and we were so excited about having fresh lobster. Let me say, it did not disappoint. It was great. They sat us by the window, overlooking the breathtaking views. The server, Joe, he was so awesome, so friendly. Would highly recommend this place. We loved it.

We traveled from Texas and haven't found a better place for lobster along the coast. Our waiter did an outstanding job explaining the menu and sharing his thoughts on the beer selection. The lobster roll was fantastic, but my friend's blueberry dish is something we've been talking about for days. The setting was perfect, the food was excellent, and the people were great—what more could we ask for? I hope to return again soon.

We enjoyed an incredible experience with fresh seafood and fantastic drinks in a beautiful setting. We visited during our vacation for a double date and had a wonderful time. We arrived at 7:15 PM and were seated at the cozy corner window within five minutes. The soup came out quickly and was served hot. Our main courses followed shortly after we finished our appetizers. Everyone had delicious dinners; my wife said it was the best seafood she had ever tasted. I ordered the pasta, which was good, though not outstanding. The others had scallops that they claimed were the best they’d ever had, along with some dishes that received rave reviews. The prices were very reasonable considering the location, the time of year, and the freshness of the food.
