Southern Touch Bakery, Coffee Shop Cafe

Giving two stars only because their baked goods were amazing. Lady at the register very unfriendly and bordering on rude. Sadly I think she may have been the owner. Not welcoming or accommodating and clearly did not want to answer questions. We ordered and left wondering how they are in business with her at the register. Must be they like locals only.

Eat here almost every day of my life, I don’t see an end in sight. I love everyone there, staff knows so many of us by name, our orders, in the short time I’m waiting for my food, almost everyone who walks in gets greeted by name. I love it, it’s close to work, it’s good food, good people, if somethings wrong they will fix it immediately, because we are all human, mistakes happen. I can also afford to eat here most days still pay my bills…so the prices are very reasonable!! They are expanding, it’s so exciting to watch their success grow. the STB Fam

I love this place! I always make sure to stop in whenever I’m visiting York. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They have delicious iced coffee and baked goods the banana pudding is to die for! They also have excellent lunch options. The BLT is my go to. Definitely check this place out!

I came to York to do a session with one of my clients, afterwards I took myself my service dog to try out this place because it looked really cute! Genuinely the worst coffee I’ve ever had in my life.. and I’m not picky, half the time I drink black coffee lol. I took a few sips and immediately threw it away.. incredibly bitter, watery, I should have just gone to McDonald’s or something else. They are nice people and the shop is cute but I wouldn’t recommend it for a sit down lunch or a quick run in. It’s been 15 minutes and the taste is still stuck in my mouthEdit: I walked to the light (a few feet away) started VIOLENTLY throwing up.. I’ve never had that happen before. Disgusting. If you know the location it’s pretty public it was extremely embarrassing
